Horseback Safari

Horseback safaris in Africa

Encounter wild African animals from horseback on a riding safari in South Africa, Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania or Namibia. A horseback safari is either mobile with fly camps such as in "Out of Africa" which move on every day; or daily rides from very nice lodges or comfortable static bush camps. Riding safaris in open spaces with lions and elephant are usually limited to experienced riders, whilst horseback safaris in areas with no dangerous game are open to all abilities and families. Non-riding activities are also usually on offer and non-riders can be as well catered for as the riders, with game drives, walks or boat trips.

I rode Masisi and Sembai who were both great... Read all

Great holiday experience at the new Bush Willow Camp. A very different visit from previous trips to Ants Nest, with real immersion in bush life, with the lodges situated close to a water hole. I rode three, all lovely, forward and responsive. Sassy, Duma and Santi
