Journeys Riding Holiday Competition Rules

It is a condition of
entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the entrant agrees to abide
by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will
be entered into.
1. Organiser
This
competition is organised by Equus Journeys, a brand of Cheval d’Aventure - Registered as
a travel agent (package including flights) with Atout France N° IM069100050, Registered
address: 2 rue Vaubecour- 69002 LYON – France, represented by Christophe
Leservoisier. This competition is in partnership with Ariat.
This competition
is open to EU and UK residents aged 21 and above. Participants must be
competent riders and meet the specified riding requirements including weight
limit. Those who do not match the requirements will be automatically
disqualified. All participants must ensure that they are eligible to travel to
Botswana (passport validity, visas) – an Equus advisor will be happy to advise
if necessary.
The prize
is one five 5-night riding holiday package for two people at Macatoo Camp in Botswana AND a full Ariat kit.
The prize
includes 5 nights at Macatoo camp (full-board with daily rides or activities
included at camp) and light aircraft transfers to/from Maun. It excludes
international flights, insurance, gratuity, and personal extras.
The riding
safari dates are subject to availability. All elements of the prize are subject to availability, are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
4. Competition Events:
The
competition will run at Badminton Horse Trials in May 2026. This competition will be run cojointly with our partner Ariat.
5. Additional Entry
All
participants can get an extra entry by posting a picture of our tradestand or
about an Equus Journeys holiday on their social media (Facebook, Instagram,
TikTok, X) and tagging us. Private accounts entries are allowed but
participants must show their post directly to an Equus representative or send a
screenshot to info@equus-journeys.com so it can be taken into account.
6. Redemption and Terms
The prize
must be redeemed within 2 years of the competition end date. Booking are
subject to general terms and conditions as per all Equus Journeys bookings: click here
The prize
is not exchangeable, refundable, or transferable.
7. How to Enter
Competition
will start on Wednesday the 6th of May, 2026 at 9:00 am. Scan the QR
code or follow the link to access the official entry form. The form must be filled out in full by
Sunday 10th of May 2026 at midnight. Entries will be closed
after that time.
Only one
entry form is allowed per person. Multiple form entries for the same person
will not be considered.
8. Results
Results
will be announced on June 5th, 2026, and the winner will be
determined through a draw organised by Equus Journeys. The winner will be
notified by email and phone.
9. Participation Fees
This
contest is a free game with no obligation to purchase. Participants must have
access to the internet to enter.
Equus
Journeys reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates the rules or
does not meet the eligibility criteria.
Equus
Journeys is not responsible for any technical issues, lost or delayed entries,
or any other circumstances beyond its control.
Personal
data concerning participants is collected with their consent as part of this
competition to establish the participant's identity, notify them in case of
winning, and award the allocated prize. The data will be processed in
accordance with the provisions of our privacy policy, which can be viewed at
