France > Auvergne - Ardeche

Horseback trails in Auvergne & the Ardèche

Just three hours outside of Paris, the region is a paradise for outdoor lovers looking to get away from the hustle of the big cities. Riding in two of France's largest regional nature parks - the Auvergne Volcanoes Park and the Livradois-Forez Park - is a delightful riding experience and a well-deserved break for everyone. With legendary volcanoes, bucolic farmland, and quaint villages, there is no end of things to see and experience on your riding holiday in Auvergne or the Ardèche. Our top tip: don't forget to try out Auvergne's famous saucisson (dry sausage) and local cheese!
