Dear friends and family and fellow riders,

Wishing you all a belated Happy New Year! I have some exciting news to share. I have just started a new job with Equus Journeys as their USA rep. Equus is the sister company to Cheval d’Aventure which is one of the first European travel agencies to specialize in horse vacations. Cor and I first got to know Cheval d’Aventure when we had just started as owners of Limpopo Horse Safaris in Botswana. Cheval and now Equus have always been a pleasure to work with and I am really excited to work with them.

Zapata Ranch, Colorado

We are really excited to start this journey with a trip to Zapata Ranch in Colorado. Cor, our boys and I are heading out for spring break on a family vacation but also trying to get to know the USA a little more and get some insight into the horse vacations available domestically.

Kara Creek, Wyoming

If anyone is interested in joining me in June, there is also the possibility of a trip to a ranch called Kara Creek in Wyoming. Kara Creek is more of a working ranch and guests are expected to help with branding and other ranch work!! Let me know if you want to join me for this!

African safaris

We still hear regularly from friends in Botswana and South Africa and are happy to be kept in the loop. I am happy to be able to share my knowledge of southern Africa and the various safaris there to anyone interested. I have also been lucky to revisit Limpopo Horse Safaris in 2019 so am happy to report on all the lovely improvements they have made.
